Still amazing dinner experience! I come here for a treat at every trip! This time I was very nicely surprised by a California pinot noir! Very well balanced! We dined here with a group of friends and whilst the food was incredible, we were very disappointed to work out when we got home that they had added an extra 3 set menus to our bill so over charged us by 900,000 yen. We spilt the bill so didn't pick up on it straight away and called them as soon as we got home, the manager told us that we had just under estimated the service charge and when we said "no we gone over the printed bill and you have over charged us by 3 set menus" she still did not believe us and eventually said "oh it looks like it was a computer error". A simply apology would have gone a long way instead of making us feel like liars. Long story short, the food is incredible but just double check your bill before paying!

A wonderful experience for my daughter’s birthday ! We were at Hakuba at my daughter’s birthday and eating at Mimi’s was such a highlight - my daughter said to me she she enjoyed the taste of luxury at Mimi’s. The room was beautiful, the food was divine, the wine is so drinkable and the service was brilliant. We exchanged a fees emails after my booking, they replied instantly and addressed my requests. Two handsome staff even sang happy birthday with us for my daughter, on my daughter’s dessert plate there were birthday wishes addressed to her name. It was so sweet! My son said he had the best bread and steak (mine) in his life. The kids both loved their bear pies. We didn’t order the set menu because we didn’t think we can finish it, we ordered individual dishes, the price is not cheap but the dinner is truely worth every cents. The boss was very attentive and even studied my bill with magnifier to make sure there is no mistake. We are so impressed with Mimi’s dinner experience. Great memories at Mimi’s to remember all my life and highly recommended!

This fine dining was exceptional! The service was thorough and attentive throughout our dinner meal. We had the truffle and wagyu experience and it was delicious! It is expensive however is well and truely worth the price.

We had an unforgettable Christmas dinner at Mim's this year. Giuseppe and the team were attentive and provided fine dining theatre with wine suggestions, descriptions of the food and just the right amount of engagement. I cannot recommend highly enough. The kids loved it and it felt very special. Thank you!!!

This is probably the only google review I’ve ever left for a restaurant. Truly a fantastic experience. We chose Mimi’s from a list of restaurants and it did not disappoint. The menu was beautifully created by the chefs. The whole team of Italian staff took care of us so well. We went for the wagyu menu. EVERY SINGLE DISH was executed with excellence. For me personally, this easily is at the top of my restaurant list and coming from hk, we are spoiled by the amount of good restaurants. I would say it is more memorable than my last meal at Caprice. This restaurant accomplished true fusion with the two pasta dishes - shinshu chestnut ravioli, wagyu cheek, caramelized chestnut and sage butter (reminds me of tortelli di zucca), the pappardelle with wagyu ragu, calvados cheese and nagano apple. These were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Bravo to the entire team and we hope to come back to Hakuba next year and cannot wait to dine at Mimi’s again.

Our time at Mimi's was fantastic. We dine around the world and the service, preparation, and quality of the ingredients were first-class. Unlike a recent previous reviewer, we did not find the flavors to be muddled, etc. I suggest to them that they maybe actually read what they are ordering prior to commenting here (ahem, if the dish lists truffles, and you do not care for truffles, then do not order the truffles. It's pretty simple.) I would strongly recommend a meal here for those seeking a fine-dining experience in Hakuba.

This was the most elite fine dining experience I have ever had. The meals were immaculate, the presentation was flawless and the food beautifully flavored and balanced. The staff took fantastic care of our table. A special mention to Illaria's fantastic service and knowledge of wine pairings, Dante's curated cocktails, and Maicol and Alessandros one on one service and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone staying in Hakuba or Nagano area! Overall, a 10 out of 10 evening.
